I was 9 years old when my mother handed me over to an old Kuwaiti woman to learn the Qur’an, and she taught me how to recite the Qur’an.
At that time, I was also working as a singer in school
The main activity of school music groups at that time was to prepare special songs for occasions in Iran, and I was a soloist in those groups.
I studied the Iranian setar for a while in Tehran and then in 2001 I returned to Beirut, my father’s hometown, to continue my education.
In Beirut, I studied economics and business at St. Joseph University, and at the same time worked as a soloist with music groups led by Ghassan al-Rahbani, one of my activities being with Ghassan al-Rahbani.
My friendship with Lebanese Christian arranger John Marie Riashi was also one of the fruits of my work in Beirut.
After returning from Beirut, I met the Iranian composer Behzad Abdi, and the result of this acquaintance was the collaboration in reading the final credits of a film by the Iraqi director Atieh Daraji.
After that, the song Balad al-Salam and Al-Zaytoun was produced and broadcast with a poem by Nizar Qabbani and composer Behzad Abdi in collaboration with the Ouj Arts Organization and Ofogh
After that, I produced and published several joint works with composers such as Peyman Khazeni and Armin Gheitasi, including the song Ja Ja Al-Rahil and the song Molad Al-Sabr.
Most of my songs have an eloquent Arabic accent, but I have also had experiences with different Lebanese, Egyptian and Gulf accents.
The melodies of the songs are mainly composed by me and my specialized instrument is the piano.
